History

May 2016: DOU Quality Coordinatorship was established taking into account Rules and Regulations for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (July 2015).

September 2016: The DOU-specific Quality Management System was designed and implemented with the DOU Quality Management System Implementation Directive (September 2016).

March 2017: DOU Document Management Directive which focuses on the Quality Management System documentation management was approved.

July 2017: Quality Document Management System (QDMS) and Process-Performance Management System (ENSEMBLE) software were procured, and the adaptations particular to the institution and intensive trainings were started to be conducted.

January 2018: Internal Auditor Certificate Training was received from TSE for a total of 28 academic and administrative staff.

June 2018: Quality web site was launched and Quality Handbook was published.

November 2018: Internal Audit was conducted for the first time.

December 2018: YÖKAK conducted an External Assessment for the first time.
