DOU adopts the “total quality management” mentality which considers the following principles in all services provided to education, research and society.

QUALITY OBJECTIVES

  • DOU Quality objectives are determined and pursued within the framework of the objectives included in the DOU Strategic Plan. Within this scope, DOU grounds its operations on reaching the following objectives.
  • To establish a quality management system which proves that the planned practices in all processes of the University are realized in a targeted and timely manner and to ensure that the system operates effectively
  • To apply quality control processes in order to meet the minimum requirements of all legal legislation and related quality standards,
  • To fulfill the duties and responsibilities in line with the Strategic Plan and Quality Policy,
  • To associate the plans and objectives of all functional and organizational units and individual employees with the objectives and priorities of the University's Strategic Plan,
  • To evaluate the quality and compliance with the standards with the feedback of internal and external stakeholders,
  • To increase satisfaction by measuring the satisfaction of employees and beneficiaries,
  • To ensure that all students benefit from the existing opportunities at the highest level by supporting them with an equal approach,
  • To update the education curricula in line with national and international standards and the needs of the sector by following continuous improvement and development of education
  • To create an understanding of management and organization that will ensure the coordination and high performance of the administrative units,
  • To ensure that project management principles are adopted by all university employees,
  • To develop a culture of project-oriented work, to use the most advanced technologies effectively and efficiently, to complete the projects in a timely manner and to write the final reports,
  • To establish project units capable of responding to R & D (Research and Development) requests,
  • To ensure that the units continuously improve their services and activities with regards to the targeted results by using methods of measuring, evaluating and improving
  • To identify team leaders in the units with appropriate qualifications to assume the responsibility of implementing the University's quality system,
  • To support every academic study and experience for professional development (financially etc.) on the basis of academic quality and honesty in accordance with the University's policy, procedures and relevant legislation
  • To provide units with adequate, secure and well-structured physical and electronic resources
